This is very informative and thank you for this great information. Both my kids love chinchillas and I am considering one as a pet for them in the near future. Thank you for sharing best practices on how bond with a chinchilla.

Your welcome! 😁 i got Smoky when I was a kid, and that was a great experience for me. My family helped me too, like watching he thermometer on hot days, making sure I played with him every night, fed him, etc… anyway, I think chinchillas are wonderful pets for kids as long as they can be patient and respectful of the chinchilla… good luck deciding!
